Abstract
The South Carolina General Assembly appropriated $15 million of lottery funds to support school facility safety projects. The proviso specified that all school districts were eligible to apply for facility funds for projects, including but not limited to, door locks, security cameras, metal detectors, lifesaving medical equipment, and School Resource Officer equipment, excluding vehicles. This is an interim report detailing prior fiscal year activities related to the application process and award of school facility safety funds.
