Abstract
This study represents a preliminary historical and intensive archaeological survey of the 643 acre Tea Farm Park tract. The
primary purpose of this investigation was to identify and assess the archaeological remains present in the proposed development,
although secondary goals were to examine the relationship between prehistoric and historic settlement patterns and soil types, to
explore the relationship between changing economy and historic settlement location, and to explore the cultural heritage interpretive potential of the proposed park.
