Print motivation

South Carolina State Library
Abstract
Print Motivation refers to a child's interest in and enjoyment of books. It begins at a very young age, long before a child can read. Remember that involving the child is more important than reading word for word. Having fun is more important than finishing the book. If you can, use your child's name in the story.
