Abstract

If an identity thief gets medical treatments using your name, the thief’s medical information could be added to your medical, health insurance and payment records. For example, pertinent information such as blood type, test results, allergies or illnesses can possibly become mixed with your medical file. This paper explains how to correct errors in your medical records.
