Abstract
In this report the LAC summarizes the findings from the appropriation and use of lottery funds, which had the following objectives: Determine whether the funds from the Education Lottery Account have been spent in compliance with state law ; Determine the state’s compliance with the education funding requirement in S.C. Code §59-150-350(D) ; Determine the status of recommendations made in previous LAC lottery audits. This review focused on the disbursement of ELA funds, which is handled by the General Assembly and other agencies, not SCEL itself.
