South Carolina Child and Adolescent Policy Forum

South Carolina Department of Alcohol and Other Drug Abuse Services
Abstract
South Carolina’s Child and Adolescent Policy Forum was held on August 30, 2007, and was an opportunity to convene key leaders and stakeholders in order to discuss how the state can improve its infrastructure to enhance the services for youth and families. This report includes an Executive Summary as well as highlights of the Roundtable Discussion of the six State Agency Directors, results of four breakout sessions, and a summary of the quantitative and qualitative results obtained by an evaluation survey completed at the end of the day. The four breakout sessions provided an opportunity to discuss specific recommendations from the BB/OASIS committees that have been working together for two years and to gather input and ideas from additional stakeholders about the recommendations.
