Abstract
South Carolina State Board of Education Regulation 43-234 (II)(C) allows districts to award credit for courses through a proficiency-based system that has been approved by the South Carolina Department of Education. The purpose of this guidance is to assist districts in applying for authorization to develop such a system to award credit.
