Abstract
The purpose of this regulation is to establish minimum criteria under the South Carolina Solid Waste Policy and Management Act of 1991, as amended, and all applicable federal regulations, for all municipal solid waste landfill (MSWLF) units, as well as, for municipal solid waste landfills that are used to dispose of sewage sludge. These minimum criteria ensure the protection of human health and the environment.
