Abstract
Teacher recruitment and retention issues affect states across our nation and have been researched extensively. This Educator Retention and Recruitment Task Force reviewed current research, best practices, and received input from South Carolina teachers during the fall of 2017. Twenty-nine practical recommendations resulted and are detailed in this report. These recommendations should be implemented swiftly and with fidelity.
