Abstract
This report provides an overview of the Chester and Lancaster region’s health landscape as captured by the 2021 CHNA conducted by MUSC Health Lancaster Division. This report is designed for use by various audiences and provides data we hope is useful in supporting community health improvement efforts. The goals of the assessment were to: Engage community members and key stakeholders from Chester and Lancaster counties that represent or serve low-income, minority and other
underserved populations; Assess and understand the community’s health issues and needs; Understand the health behaviors, risk factors and social determinants that impact health and wellness; and Identify existing community resources and explore opportunities for collaboration.
