Abstract
On July 1, 2014, the South Carolina Department of Health and Human Services (SCDHHS) changed the referral process for community and facility-based behavioral health services. As a result, the corresponding services that had previously been financed by other agencies using the IMD transition funds are now covered by SCDHHS and are reported here accordingly. Also included are additional details on the numbers of beneficiaries and claims for private and public PRTFs and inpatient psychiatric hospitals.
