Abstract
In accordance with Proviso 117.130 of the 2023-2024 General Appropriations Act, the South Carolina Commission on Higher Education (CHE) is pleased to provide a comprehensive report on public institutions’ diversity efforts from the prior fiscal year for your review. This proviso directs public institutions not only to use appropriated or authorized funds to develop enrollment and retention programs to promote diversity in their respective student populations, but also to share updates on the effectiveness of the programs to the CHE.
