Abstract
This executive order by Governor Henry McMaster directs measures in response to the coronavirus pandemic including: continued execution of the South Carolina Emergency Operations Plan, DHEC to utilize and exercise any and all emergency powers, as set forth in the Emergency Health Powers Act, directing certain agencies to waive provisions of existing regulations of state business if it would prevent, hinder, or delay necessary action in coping with the emergency, for all restaurants and other food-service establishments to suspend on premises or dine-in consumption, prohibiting and directing postponement of any organized event or public gathering involving fifty or more persons, and directing the Adjutant General to initiate and oversee efforts to coordinate with the South Carolina National Guard and hospitals.
