Abstract
This management summary describes the initial results of archaeological data recovery undertaken for The Habit Corporation at 38BU861 on Hilton Head Island in compliance with a Memorandum of Agreement between The Habit Corporation and the South Carolina State Historic Preservation Office. The site consists of a series of discrete shell middens ranging from about 15 to 40 feet in diameter and dating from the Late Woodland period St. Catherines phase.
