The John de la Howe School was founded in 1797 as a farm school for local poor and orphaned children. It has become an agency providing students who are experiencing behavioral health problems affecting their daily living a safe, structured, and therapeutic environment in which to learn and practice skills necessary for optimum behavioral health.
