Each of the two Towns of South Carolina publications from the State Planning Board include data about the towns and cities of South Carolina, including communications and utilities. Each town listing includes post offices, highway facilities, passenger and freight railroad service, and power utilities. These reports from 1943 and 1947 also include the incorporation date, population, telephone provider, and additional county and financial statistics.
