Publication Family Homelessness in Richland County : The Scope and Scale from 2004 to 2015(South Carolina State Library, 2016-04-27) Kloos, Bret; Snow-Hill, Nyssa; Archie, Douglas; University of South Carolina. Department of PsychologyThis report documents family homelessness in Richland County from 2004 to October 2015. The analyses are focused on understanding the scale and scope of experiences confronting families who are homeless. The report also analyzes the capacity of Richland County to address the needs of family homelessness, public opinion about homeless services, and the gap between local resources and the need of families. These child care scholarships are the focus of the current evaluation. Public History ProgramThe Architectural Survey of Charleston County‟s School Equalization Program, 1951-1955 surveyed a total of thirty-one schools and recorded a total of twenty-eight schools. These schools were constructed or renovated between 1951 and 1955 as part of a statewide effort to equalize black and white public school facilities to maintain segregation. The purpose of the project is to record and photograph all new schools constructed in Charleston County as part of the statewide school equalization program. Several schools included in the project had significant additions constructed as part of the program. The survey compares white and black schools to evaluate the effects of equalization as new schools were similar in construction, design, and setting and makes recommendations for each school‟s eligibility for listing in the National Register of Historic Places.Publication The economic impact of the equine sector on South Carolina : a report(South Carolina State Library, 2019-02-13) University of South Carolina; South Carolina Department of AgricultureThe purpose of this study was to specifically quantify the economic impact of the equine sector on South Carolina.
