    Sumter Stormwater Solution’s Annual Report of Activities summarizes education, involvement, and participation programming provided by Sumter Stormwater Solutions’ (SSS) community and education consortium partners. Programming activities strive to educate community members about stormwater quality and quantity and its role in the heath of our local waterways. Program areas are determined by the SSS Strategic Plan, which identifies target pollutants of concern, outreach strategies, and short-term and long-term goals.

    The Florence Darlington Stormwater Consortium includes representatives from all of the regulated Small Municipal Separate Storm Sewer Systems (SMS4) communities in the Florence and Darlington Urbanized Area. Through the Consortium, these representatives work together to maximize the efficiency of stormwater education and outreach efforts in the Pee Dee region of South Carolina.

    2023 LSP Annual Report

    The Lowcountry Stormwater Partners (LSP) is an active consortium comprised of partnerships between the Clemson Extension’s Carolina Clear Program, local governments, and several local organizations dedicated to the protection and preservation of Lowcountry waterways. Together, we work with residents, contractors, and other audiences to prevent stormwater pollution. We also encourage individuals to take action, get involved, and promote personal responsibility for waterway protection.

    The Anderson & Pickens Counties Stormwater Partner’s (APCSP) Year Ten Annual Report of Activities summarizes education, involvement, and participation programming offered in 2023. APCSP community and education partners ollaborate on a region-wide outreach strategy to educate residents about water issues, including quantity, quality, and the cumulative impacts of stormwater. As a public service of Clemson University, APCSP continued to serve South Carolina. County agents and staff assisted clients through telephone, email, and virtual platforms, as well as in-person workshops, outdoor events, and field visits. County agents also helped clients collect and submit soil, water, and plant samples to Clemson laboratories for analysis and interpretation of results.

    The Coastal Waccamaw Stormwater Education Consortium’s Annual Report of Activities for 2022 summarizes outreach and involvement programming offered by the Coastal Waccamaw Stormwater Education Consortium (CWSEC) community and education partners throughout the year. The CWSEC implements a region-wide outreach strategy to educate Horry and Georgetown County residents on water quantity, quality, and the cumulative impacts of stormwater. Education programming was steered by the CWSEC’s Annual Activity Plan, which identifies priority issues to address through messaging and outreach that targets residential and commercial audiences.
