    The purpose of the National Horse and Pony Youth Activities Council is to help coordinate youth horse activities to obtain maximum benefit of the horse for developing youth. In keeping with this purpose, the Council has developed guidelines for horse show management. The objective of these guidelines is to promote safety for both the show and participants and encourage understanding of the role of a show from the standpoint of exhibitors and spectators.
