Description
DHEC's motto: Promote, Protect, Prosper is an ideal one. Its vision to do all of this for the greater good of South Carolina and its people speaks of the purpose of its existence, its main reason for being. But, can it live up to this vision? Medically, can it live up to what the state's officials are expecting it to do? This project hopes to answer these questions. It examines reasons why the agency cannot meet its commitment and explore ways in which it might.
