Waterfowl Management Areas

The South Carolina Department of Natural Resources manages Waterfowl Management Areas to maintain populations of migratory waterfowl; these areas are available for hunting with restrictions. During the waterfowl hunting season, the agency publishes a weekly harvest report of species, number of hunters, ducks per hunter, shots fired, cripples lost, and percentage lost of waterfowl hunted in the management areas and also a yearly summary report.
